Receiver Factory

At Goonhilly, we combine our knowledge of space communications, antenna design, phased arrays, signal processing, electronics, software and mechanical engineering, to develop advanced products for space communication and related markets.

We are looking to refurbish part of our site to serve as a receiver factory, which will include a dedicated test antenna.

We are an exemplar for knowledge exchange between universities and industry and work closely with the physics department at Oxford University to transfer specialist designs into operation.

This includes the advancing of cryostatic receivers, ultra-scale FPGAs and high-performance RF engineering through testing and into production.

Our Receiver Factory will be an advanced manufacturing facility which can be used both for our own equipment development to keep our services at the leading edge of technology, and also to build products to print for third parties.
