Climate Change and Global Warming

Goonhilly Space AI Institute set to join the cause

Collecting and processing data from space is a key part in the fight against climate change and global warming. Earth orbit provides a vantage point that is perfect for measuring and comparing many of the parameters that form the early warning signs for irreversible damage to our planet.

The increased number of space science earth observation missions coupled with the vast increase in raw data available needs a new kind of earth-based processing facility.

That’s why we have invested in building a new supercomputer data centre, equipped with the latest generation GPU processors and high-speed mass storage systems. We are now equipping our Space AI Institute with the capability to downlink and process data directly at Goonhilly.

We are developing a partnership approach to this work and are already working with key organisations such as Nvidia & HPE.

Please contact us for more information or to get involved. Partner with Goonhilly to help identify where your business can truly engage with the future.
