Although our Cornwall HQ is not open on a regular basis, we love to welcome visitors when we host special events, such as our famous music and science festivals. We also have a stage and arena area that can be hired by those looking for an 'out of this world' event location.
Public Events
Festivals aren't usually associated with cutting-edge, deep space communications companies, but then Goonhilly isn't your standard communications company.
With operations spanning more than 60 years, Goonhilly has been at the forefront of some notable historic events. Being able to celebrate these milestones has proven incredibly popular with people in, and outside, the space communications industry. Our recent science and music festivals, Apollo 50 and Goonhilly 60 are two very notable examples.
But it's not just our history that makes us unique - our current and future projects are marking their own places in space history, meaning plenty more celebrations to come!
Set against the backdrop of our world famous satellite antennas, and situated on Cornwall's stunning Lizard Peninsula, there really is no better spot for a party than here at Goonhilly Earth Station...
