Goonhilly Earth Station is to host its second Mission Operations Training Course on 20th-23rd June 2016.

The short course, aimed at industry professionals and science/engineering graduates will combine elements of ground segment and space segment operations, communications and practical exercises.

Building on the success of the initial course last year, Goonhilly is rapidly growing, with recent announcements of its Enterprise Zone status and Centre of Excellence in Satellite Applications, the site is adding new facilities and capabilities at an accelerating pace.

The Mission Operations course will be delivered in conjunction with expert partners from GES Ltd, Catena Space, Scisys and QinetiQ. The team has a unique experience in mission operations both in commercial satellite communications and planetary science missions.
