Intuitive Machines Completes Acquisition of Goonhilly and COMSAT

COMPLETION STATEMENT: 03/08/26

Following its announcement on 14 May 2026 regarding its proposed acquisition by Intuitive Machines, Goonhilly Earth Station Ltd (“Goonhilly”) is pleased to confirm that the transaction has now completed, following the satisfaction of required conditions and regulatory approvals.

Goonhilly will retain its status as a UK-registered company and will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Intuitive Machines, retaining its headquarters in Cornwall, UK, and its office in Hampshire, UK.

Goonhilly reiterates its commitment to seamless service continuity during this period and looks forward to benefitting from expanded resources, enhanced technological capabilities, and improved access to international markets.

The acquisition strengthens Intuitive Machines’ space infrastructure service with a network of ground stations, increasing visibility across major Earth viewing arcs, enhancing contact opportunities for lunar and deep space missions, and expanding capacity on the Company’s space data network for communications, data transport, and position, navigation, and timing (PNT). Additionally, Goonhilly's and COMSAT’s civil, commercial, and government customer bases complement Intuitive Machines’ existing customer base and broaden the Company’s reach into adjacent industries.
